Rob Richards
Owner of 3.6.9. Design, an engineering and fabrication company based in Los Angeles, Rob is a two-time Burner and has an over 10 years of experience in construction, lighting design, fabrication, and field engineering. He has also worked on build crews for "Lumina" (Sarah Holden, 2019), "The Lens" (Lauren Kilb, 2109), "Incenter" (Kate Greenberg, 2022), and "Retrofrolic" (theme camp, 2022).
Build Lead
Tim Schaub
Tim is a lover of all highly vibrational creations and loves being immersed in community creativity. With 10+ years of experience in various parts of the construction industry, he now runs his own business building meditation and retreat spaces for clients in Southern California. While this will be his first journey to the Playa, he brings a vital commitment, gratitude and excitement to the project.
Fundraising Lead
Faith Fryatt
Faith is a freelance marketing and content specialist based in Los Angeles. With a professional background in entertainment business, she has experience in music, events, film, and television. Through transformational festivals and events, she has learned to navigate and celebrate life as a queer, neurodivergent, and highly-sensitive human. She is excited to help bring an impactful art project to the Playa and experience Burning Man for the first time!
Marketing Consultant
Mandy Hoskinson
Mandy is a marketing agency founder, community leader, and creative. She owns Zolay, a B2B + B2C social media marketing agency, serves as the President of the Social Media Club of LA, and is an overall lover of all things travel, tech, and art. She is also co-host of the Culver City Burning Man monthly meet-up. You can find her most digital places as @mediamandy.
Street Team
James Lavrakas
James is a Psychedelic Integration Specialist, providing coaching assistance to introverts and highly sensitive people. He spent 15 years working for the Walt Disney Company, most notably as a communication designer for Walt Disney Animation Studios. He has been an active burner since 2015.
Sculptor
Chess MacElvaine
Chess is an LA-based theatrical fabricator, scenic and prop designer, puppet maker, and immersive experience creator and performer. They have been helping to build immersive, story-first experiences across the United States for the last 6 years and are thrilled to be bringing their skills to such a uniquely evocative project.
In addition to their work as an experience maker and story teller, Chess is a working actor, professional clown, budding psychologist, and passionate community builder. From writing introspective immersive shows to facilitating somatic movement sessions, Chess loves to explore grief, joy, fun and their many intersections through play. Though this will be their first visit to the Playa, they are confident it will not be their last.
Cinematographer
Candice Rose
Candice is a cinematographer, photographer, and director for narrative, documentaries, music videos, and commercial content. She also runs Spin the Dial Productions, a wedding content production company based in Los Angeles. Her education includes an MFA in Film from UCLA, and she has received several awards and nominations such as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Award, the MPAA Award, the Jack Nicholson Distinguished Student Director Award, and a student Emmy nomination. Candice created the short film "Echoes of the Heart: Exploring Heart Memory, Trauma, and Sustainable Design", which has been featured on our crowdfunding page, wesbite, and social media accounts.
